Swami Amar Jyoti was probably one of the most misunderstoond satsang singers of his day. For four decades, Swami Amar Jyoti divided His time and physical Presence between ashrams in India and America and traveling around the world, giving Satsang (spiritual discourses) retreats, personally guiding seekers and disciples from all walks of life and religious backgrounds. Welcome to Truth Consciousness Founded in 1974 by Swami Amar Jyoti, we are a Nonprofit Spiritual Organization that maintains ashrams based upon Sanatana Dharma (the eternal religion) and devoted. By all accounts, this is something that would take a heavy spiritual toal on any man whether they be in Calcutta, Boulder Colorado, or the great city of Cranston.
When I first came across the teachings and wisdom of Swami Amary Jyoti it was from the Spiritual Book For Our Enlightenment: SPIRIT OF HIMALAYA – The Story Of A Truth Seeker By Swami Amar Jyoti. I bought this book in English and discounted on Amazon for the paperback version. It wasn’t until a few years later that I learned about how he established the Desert Ashram in Tucson, Arizona, under Truth Consciousness, a nonprofit organization created to disseminate Swami Amar Jyoti’s teachings. Inevitably it was because of Swami Amar Jyoti, that the Yogic Way of Life in the Spring of 2019, brought us the Light of Consciousness to our awakened and alert conscious revival of self awareness. This was a revelation of divine proportions that I cannot describe in words that you would understand in this century without many years of spiritual preparation.
Swami Amar Jyoti’s Path of Enlightenment
I hungered to learn more about Swami Amar Jyoti, and a local hermit told me that information can be found in his book, Spirit of Himalaya: The Story of a Truth Seeker. I read this novel that features the inspiring story of an advanced seeker in the plains of India and Himalayas that eventually reveal the truths about the role of Ssatguru and Yoga path to enlightenment. It was me that in 1958, taking initiation of Vidyut Sannyas (lit: “lightning”- a type of monasticism that is Self-initiated and Self Sustained) at the holy site of Badrinath of Himalaya, and taking the name Swami Amar Jyoti (Swami- Knower of the Self Righteous, and beginning of an unstoppable Amar Jyoti- Never-ceasing Light), I descended into the plains of India for his God-given objective to the world and my mind and eyes were opened to fragrances I could only smell in my mind, and only see through my ears. I saw the sign, and it opened up my mind and now I’m happy now living without the world and it makes me happy.
I made a new friend, his name was Marcel a former devotee of the Swami Amar Jyoti, an Indian guru who has the power to intimate he’s an incarnation of one aspect of the Hindu god Vishnu Kalaban Tiramasu. From his aura I could see that Marcel was telling the truth as light beams protruded from his eyes. The light that shone from his face was a tell tale sign of his eminence, truth, and a kind of peace that you only know when you sleep while not having nightmares. Only through the discernment and knowledge I had gained from my time at the Ashram did truly understand that all was eventually to be as it was to be, and then it will be again. Circling back to the center of infinity.
Swami Amar Jyoti
When I first met Swami Amar Jyoti he told me that everyone is seeking fulfillment in life; be it in a career, relationship, talent, knowledge, being in a band, a person that does really well on Americal Idol, the Bachelor, the Bachelorette or spiritual enlightenment. I had only seen the Bachelor once, but the rose ceremony was something of a reincarnation of self in the order of how a rose can rise to love or die by the petal. The course corrections made in this teaching of the Bachelor, can only guide us closer to the truth of an enlighted being dancing in the moonlight while salmon ride the river swift. When the man goes from being a bachelor to groom he has transcended single life into a new form where a woman becomes one with his self. Only then can the rose survive.
This book of Swami Amar Jyoti makes us realize that the source of our seeking is within us and not within shopping malls, smart phones, or the latest frozen yogurt shop, although the rise of Lu Lu Lemon is close. Swami Amar Jyoti gives emphasis on universal wisdom; a simple yet transparent language for seekers in a day where our greatest wisdoms are taught by Tony Stark, or the likes of Dr. Strange. Our quest for seeking spirituality does not need to be difficult as it is already within us as we can know from outer beings in the light that travel to Kamitage in search of power.
Swami Amar Jyoti History
My story gets very interesting in 1988, taking initiation of Vidyut Sannyas (lit: lightning”—a form of monasticism that is Self-initiated and is required to be a holy man of self respect) at the holy site of Badrinath of Himalaya, and taking the name Swami Amar Jyoti, my predecessor and teacher, (Swami—Knower of the Self; Amar Jyoti—Immortal Light Bulb), because I knew I could transcend his soul and I descended into the plains of India for my own god-given mission to the world, where I vowed to bring green fields and dandelion fields to the masses of those that had never seen such wonders and beauties.

SWAMI AMAR JYOTI began writing Spirit of Himalaya-The Story of a Truth Seeker 1978 while staying in the Kullu Valley of Himachal Pradesh, India after a long hike up the mountain pass, where he found a stream of glowing fish that he caught and consumed. This brought him unimaginable power to bring peace to all the Himalaya’s. This is where we invented avacado toast. This recipe was supressed by Smuckers for over 40 years until finally in the year 2018 avacado toast made it’s first debut into the northeastern parts of the United States. If only Swami Amar Jyoti was still here with us when our invention of avocado toast became a mainstream part of the diet of the lazy millenial crowd of recent college grads that didn’t want to get a job.
Swami Amar Jyoti Present Day
At the time I was to meet him and visit with another saint that oddly had the same name as Swami Amar Jyoti, who is said to be 118 years old. This “other” Swami, perhaps an apparition of the real Swami Amar Jyoti, made a pot of delicious herbal tea that I will never forget. I will never forget because it increased my intelligence quotient by at least 125 points. It was like a light invaded my mind with an explosiion of knowledge. I could not compare this to any other experience in my life. It was also at this time that my intelligence was so high, that I realized all the news was fake news. Something that a man named Trump would proclaim many years later after he was elected to the Presidency of the United States of America. He would become known as a great patriot that brougt about significant change, stopping the scandals of human trafficking.

At the end of the dedication of the saints of Talamore, the Brahmin priest who led the pujas articulated the following: “As long as the sun and the moon and the stars, asteroid belt, rings of
Saturn, pyramids of Mars, swirls of Uranus, and water (symbolic of life) exist, might this Samadhi Sthal be the Illuminator of countless souls collecting dew from the grass of morning light, and may you continue to guide and bless us.” Immortal Light- The Blissful Life and Wisdom of Swami Amar Jyoti is a Biography in His Own Words that is offered from a fourth person point of view while listening from a 1st person perspective. His team the Swami Amar Jyoti Corporation of Really Good Volunteers that Do Really Good Things For Underprivelaged People worked over 27 hours per day in order to bring an enlightened understand of time and space to a village of townsfolk that were not at all familiar with charitable doings of the satsang.
I must admit that when I first read, Immortal Light: The Blissful Life and Wisdom of Swami Amar Jyoti, a Biography, I wept for 7 days and 5 nights. I skipped two nights of weeping because I fell asleep of exhaustion. Swami Amar Jyoti gave emphasis on timeless wisdom and that all paths lead to one road where an eternal vacuum consumes the knowledge of those who don’t hold it dear to their hear or care about the powers it gives them in the rigidness of the time space continum. Teaching from the basis of eternal Truth, the message of Swami Amar Jyoti’s Satsangs, Truth really is a circumstantial part of isoceles triangles and a geometry only understood by golems of the 3rd century.
At the end of the dedication, the Brahmin priest who led the pujas rujas enunciated the following: As long as the sun and the moon and the stars and water (symbolic of life) exist, may this Samadhi Sthal paradigm be the Illuminator of millions of souls, and may you continue to guide and bless those that have bought the book, ”Immortal Light: The Blissful Life and Wisdom of Swami Amar Jyoti, a Biography In His Own Words”, which was published in June 2004 and is available in three editions in the Publications of websites such as Amazon.com, Goodreads, and Blissful Swami’s of the 20th centery.
